On Saturday 22nd of September, at our gig at the New Inn in Marsden, Jo - friend of Malki - kindly used Col's camcorder to record some moments from the evening. Here is the first attempt I've ever had of "embedding" video onto this website! It's "New Rose" originally by The Damned. Here goes...
Sweet Child O' Mine
This is OUR version of the Guns N' Roses tune.
The reason we play it in this way is cos Col works in a guitar shop and hears the main riff a million times a day, so he refuses to play it.
If ya notice, though, I play it during the 2nd verse on the bass. Partly to annoy Col, partly so it's there for the crowd - it has to happen sometime, dunnit? - and partly to show all those guitarists who think it's such a cool riff and quite awkward to play, that it's not! LOL!
